Baharak has worked as a research scientist for drug development and cancer cure for more than 10 years. She specifically worked on oncogenes expression and pathways and completed more than 20 projects related to drug delivery and cell therapy. After obtaining her master’s degree with honors in Molecular Genetics, she chose to work as a Lab scientist in leading-edge companies, including Thermo Fisher Scientific (Burnaby, BC), BC Cancer Agency (Vancouver, BC) and BC Children Hospital. She is also a clinical research professional and achieved her advanced diploma from CRA Academy in Montreal and participated in multiple clinical trials.  Her favorite hobby is cooking and trying different recipes from all around the world.
