Leila is a Ph.D. in medical immunology, a well-educated, methodical and detail-oriented scientist with a strong background in Biomedical research. She has over 10 years of experience working in vaccine production and has been awarded multiple post-doctoral fellowships in Australia and Canada. As an academic research associate at McMaster University Research Centre, she is responsible for supervising and researching in vivo experiment setups and has truly demonstrated comprehensive experience in both academic and pharmaceutical environments with superior project management capabilities in translation immunology, with the specialty in viral infections and cancer studies, making murine models, and creating humanized mouse models, leading to several published papers. In her free time, she loves to do gardening, crafting, painting, and exploring new places.
