Mehdi is an experienced medical doctor and pathologist with a demonstrated history of working in the universities, hospitals, and system health care. He is skilled in medicine, medical education, and clinical research. His research interests are related to translational studies in cancer genetics research, new biomarkers, and the development of new technologies for use in diagnostic testing and subsequent treatment. Mehdi’s main research projects and publications are on cancers such as kidney, prostate, and pancreas cancers. He is now a senior anatomical pathology resident at the University of Toronto and collaborates with Ontario Institute for Cancer Research (OICR) and Ontario Molecular Pathology Research Network (OMPRN). Mehdi enjoys photography on nature and social subjects, drawing, listening to music, watching soccer games and he is particularly a scope-lover (micro/tele).
