Pardis is a celebrated interdisciplinary scientist with numerous, award-winning scientific and medical research and clinical projects. Her scope of interest covers a large span in the medical world, from gene identification to drug discovery. Pardis has made several primary discoveries and established her status as one of the pioneer researchers in the field of food addiction and human obesity. Pardis completed her studies and training as an MD with honors at Golestan Medical University in Iran. Then she continued her journey and obtained her MSc in Vitality and Aging from Leiden University Medical Center in Netherland. She was also awarded her Ph.D. with distinction in Medicine, by Memorial University and now works as a Postdoc fellow at the University of Calgary. When not working, you can find her playing piano, dancing, enjoying and also exploring a variety of different foods and restaurants.
